Air-to-air photo shoot with Darren Harbar

Last weekend was a special one – we spent some time with Darren Harbar, a renowned photographer in the warbird scene. Since air-to-air photography is Darren’s specialty, we were extremely excited to be able to take our Corsair in the air and get some shots in the beatiful mountainous landscapes surrounding Siegerland airport. Lots of effort went into planning the whole operation and Darren did a masterful job with spotting the right scenery, so we are really greatful the weather forecast did not let us down and everything worked out in the end. On Sunday we started another sortie with our P-51 to get some more video material, so you should look forward to some new pictures and videos in the coming weeks and months! We will keep you updated as soon as there is more news to share.

Besides taking pictures and video we had a lovely time with Darren and his partner – time flies when you are in good company. We are thrilled to strengthen our bonds with the UK warbird scene, that has some of the most exciting airshows and aircraft!

We’d love to welcome Darren back any time and are looking forward to participate on a regular basis in UK’s events in the following years.
